Origins Unity LLC had built something genuinely rare in Seattle’s crowded wellness market – a holistic coaching practice that combined personal training, breathwork, yoga, cold exposure, and corporate wellness consulting under one roof, grounded in a clear philosophy of mind-body integration. Founder David Reveles had years of results to point to. What he didn’t have was a way to reach the Seattle professionals, teams, and companies who needed exactly what he offered but had no idea Origins Unity existed.
The Challenge
Seattle’s wellness market is one of the most saturated in the country – a city with thousands of yoga studios, personal trainers, meditation apps, and corporate wellness vendors all competing for the same clients. Origins Unity’s holistic, integrated approach was a genuine differentiator, but it was invisible online. Three structural problems defined their situation:
- A website that didn’t match how people search – Origins Unity’s services were described in holistic, philosophy-led language that resonated deeply with existing clients but didn’t align with how Seattle residents actually search – “personal trainer Seattle,” “breathwork class Seattle,” “corporate wellness consultant Seattle” – meaning Google had no clear signals to rank them for anything specific
- No separation between individual and corporate audiences – their individual coaching clients and their corporate consulting prospects had entirely different needs, budgets, and decision-making processes, yet the website spoke to both in the same voice on the same pages, converting neither effectively
- Invisible in Seattle’s neighbourhoods – their Ballard location served clients from Fremont, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, and Green Lake, but they had no content signalling relevance to any of these communities individually — leaving suburb-level wellness searches completely uncaptured
The diagnosis: A deeply credible wellness practice with a multi-service offering that Google couldn’t categorise, an audience it couldn’t segment, and a service area it couldn’t map. Significant organic opportunity sitting entirely untapped.
What We Did
Origins Unity’s strength is the breadth and integration of their offering. Our SEO strategy preserved that holistic identity while giving each service the individual search visibility it needed to attract clients who were actively looking for it.
Phase 1: Service Page Architecture (Month 1–2)
We built dedicated landing pages for each of Origins Unity’s core services – personal training in Seattle, yoga and movement coaching, breathwork sessions, cold exposure and recovery, meditation and mindfulness coaching, Qi Gong, nutrition and natural living, and corporate wellness consulting. Each page was written in two registers: the philosophy and approach that makes Origins Unity distinctive, and the specific, practical language that matches how Seattle residents actually search. The result was pages that ranked for intent-driven queries while still communicating David’s authentic methodology.
Phase 2: Corporate Wellness Vertical (Month 2–5)
Corporate wellness is Origins Unity’s highest-value service line – contracts with Seattle-area companies, startups, and HR departments for group programmes, team breathwork sessions, workplace mindfulness, and executive coaching. We built a dedicated corporate wellness hub with pages targeting the people who make these buying decisions: HR managers, Chief People Officers, operations leaders, and executive teams. Content addressed their specific concerns – ROI of employee wellness programmes, measurable outcomes, flexibility for remote and hybrid teams, and Washington State workplace wellness incentives. This vertical now generates 6–8 qualified corporate enquiries per month.
Phase 3: Seattle Neighbourhood Targeting (Month 2–4)
We built geo-targeted pages for the key Seattle neighbourhoods within Origins Unity’s client draw area – Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Green Lake, Phinney Ridge, Magnolia, and Wallingford. Each page connected the specific lifestyle and wellness culture of that neighbourhood to Origins Unity’s offering, positioning the practice as the natural choice for that community’s health-conscious residents. Ballard and Fremont pages alone now drive over 400 combined monthly organic sessions.
Phase 4: Holistic Wellness Content Hub (Month 3–8)
We identified 180+ questions Seattle wellness seekers search – from “what is breathwork and does it work” to “best cold plunge Seattle” to “corporate meditation programmes Seattle.” A structured content hub answered all of them, establishing David Reveles and Origins Unity as the authoritative voice on integrated wellness in the Pacific Northwest. This content cluster drives consistent top-of-funnel traffic from people just beginning their wellness journey – exactly the audience most likely to become long-term clients once they discover the full Origins Unity offering.
Phase 5: Google Business Profile & Local Visibility (Month 2–3)
We rebuilt Origins Unity’s GBP with complete service listings across all modalities, uploaded professional photos of sessions and the practice space, added a structured Q&A section addressing common questions about holistic wellness and what to expect from a first session, and launched a post-session review programme. Reviews grew from 14 to 89 over eight months. They now appear in the local 3-pack for wellness and personal training searches across five Seattle neighbourhoods.
Results
Ten months in, Origins Unity has more individual clients than at any point in their history, a fully booked group programme calendar, and eight active corporate wellness contracts with Seattle-area businesses – a revenue stream that barely existed before our engagement. David has brought on two additional coaches to meet demand.
- 17x Organic traffic (210 → 3,600 monthly sessions)
- +240% Individual programme enquiries per month
- 8 Active corporate wellness contracts via organic
- 89 Google reviews (up from 14)
- 5 areas appearing in Google 3-pack across Seattle
- 2 coaches Hired to meet new client demand
Their corporate wellness page now ranks #2 in Seattle for “corporate wellness consultant Seattle” and has become their highest revenue-per-client acquisition channel – with corporate contracts averaging $12,000–$28,000 annually compared to individual coaching programmes.
Key Takeaways
- Holistic businesses need to speak Google’s language without losing their voice. Origins Unity’s philosophy is their differentiator – but Google ranks pages for what people search, not how practitioners describe their work. The key is building pages that honour both: authentic methodology expressed in search-accessible language.
- Separating individual and corporate audiences unlocks both. A single page trying to speak to a stressed professional seeking personal wellness and an HR director evaluating a company-wide programme will convert neither. Dedicated funnels for each audience, with their own language and CTAs, dramatically improve both traffic quality and conversion rate.
- Corporate wellness SEO is underserved and high-value. Very few wellness practitioners have built content specifically targeting HR managers and executive teams. The keyword competition is low, the search intent is highly commercial, and the contract values are many times higher than individual clients. For multi-service wellness businesses, this vertical deserves its own strategy.
- Neighbourhood pages work especially well for wellness businesses. People are more likely to commit to a wellness practice within their own community. “Personal trainer Fremont” and “breathwork Ballard” are not just lower-competition keywords – they attract clients with higher retention rates because proximity reduces the friction of showing up consistently.
- Content authority compounds differently in wellness than in other industries. Wellness seekers research extensively and return to the same sources repeatedly. A content hub that establishes genuine authority — answering real questions about breathwork, cold exposure, and holistic fitness with depth and accuracy — builds an audience that converts to long-term clients, not one-time bookings.
I built Origins Unity around a genuine philosophy of whole-person wellness - but philosophy alone doesn't fill your calendar. The SEO Doctors helped us translate what we do into language that the people who need us are actually searching for. Within ten months we had more individual clients than ever, a corporate wellness revenue stream we'd barely tapped before, and two new coaches on the team. The organic growth they built has changed the trajectory of the business.
