Dr. Shruti’s Delhi Physio Care had spent over two decades building one of Paschim Vihar’s most trusted physiotherapy practices. With a fully equipped clinic, a team of IAP-registered therapists, and 20+ years of clinical experience treating everything from sports injuries to neurological conditions, the reputation was solid. The problem was digital – patients across West Delhi searching for physiotherapy help were landing on Practo, JustDial, and hospital outpatient listings instead of finding Dr. Shruti’s clinic directly. A practice that deserved to be the first result in its market was buried pages deep.

The Challenge

Delhi’s physiotherapy market is dominated by two forces: large hospital chains with massive marketing budgets, and lead aggregators like Practo and JustDial that capture patient searches and sell enquiries to multiple clinics simultaneously. Independent clinics with superior clinical expertise but limited digital budgets consistently lose visibility to both. Delhi Physio Care faced three specific gaps:

  • Aggregator dependency – the majority of new patient enquiries were coming through Practo and JustDial, meaning Dr. Shruti was paying per-lead to platforms that listed her alongside 15 competing clinics, with no ability to differentiate on quality or outcome

The diagnosis: A clinically excellent practice losing new patients to aggregators and less experienced competitors simply because it wasn’t findable for the specific condition and locality searches that West Delhi patients use. A high-effort clinical operation with a low-effort digital presence.

What We Did

Our strategy for Delhi Physio Care focused on three priorities: owning every condition search in West Delhi, eliminating aggregator dependency, and building the GBP presence that turns Google Maps into their busiest referral channel.

Phase 1: Condition Page Optimisation (Month 1–2)

We audited every existing condition page on the site and rebuilt them around how Delhi patients actually search. “Back pain physiotherapy Delhi,” “cervical spondylosis treatment Paschim Vihar,” “sciatica physiotherapist West Delhi,” “knee replacement physiotherapy Delhi,” “frozen shoulder treatment near me” – each page was restructured with the right keyword targeting, patient-facing language explaining the condition and treatment process, and clear appointment CTAs. We also built new pages for high-volume conditions the site hadn’t covered – post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological physiotherapy, geriatric physiotherapy, and sports injury recovery.

Phase 2: Home Visit Service Visibility (Month 2–3)

Home physiotherapy visits are one of Delhi Physio Care’s most valuable services – particularly for elderly patients, post-operative patients, and those with mobility limitations. Yet this service was buried in the website with no dedicated page and zero search visibility. We built a standalone home physiotherapy page targeting “home visit physiotherapist Delhi,” “physiotherapy at home Paschim Vihar,” and “physiotherapist home visit West Delhi” – searches with strong commercial intent and manageable competition. Within 90 days, home visit enquiries had increased by 180%.

Phase 3: Locality Landing Pages (Month 2–5)

Phase 4: Google Business Profile Domination (Month 2–3)

Delhi Physio Care’s GBP was significantly under-optimised – missing several key service categories, carrying outdated photos, and with no Q&A content populated. We rebuilt it comprehensively: added 22 service categories, uploaded 60+ clinic and treatment photos, structured a Q&A section addressing the 25 most common patient questions before a first appointment, and launched a post-treatment review request programme via WhatsApp – the channel patients in Delhi respond to most reliably. Reviews grew from 31 to 148 over seven months. The clinic now appears in the Google 3-pack for physiotherapy searches across six West Delhi localities.

Phase 5: Aggregator Displacement Content Strategy (Month 3–9)

Beating Practo and JustDial in organic search requires content depth and local specificity those platforms cannot match at scale. Results

Nine months in, Delhi Physio Care receives more direct appointment requests – via Google call, website form, and WhatsApp – than at any point in their history. Aggregator dependency has dropped significantly, meaning more patients are arriving with full context about the clinic and higher appointment completion rates.
