“The SEO Doctors”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to The SEO Doctors, the SEO agency operating this website. “Client” or “you” refers to any individual or business that engages our services or accesses our website. “Services” means any SEO, content, link building, or digital marketing services we provide. “Agreement” means these Terms and Conditions along with any signed proposal, statement of work, or service contract.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
- Knowingly transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful data
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
- Scrape, copy, or republish our content without prior written consent
3. Services
The SEO Doctors provides SEO and digital marketing services as agreed in writing between the parties. All services are subject to a separate proposal or statement of work which, when signed or accepted, forms part of this Agreement.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any business or individual at our sole discretion.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Search engine optimisation involves working within third-party systems (including Google, Bing, and other search engines) that are outside our control. While we apply best-practice, data-driven strategies and have a strong track record, we cannot and do not guarantee specific ranking positions, traffic volumes, or revenue outcomes.
Algorithm changes, competitive actions, technical issues on the client’s site, and other factors beyond our control may affect results. Past results for other clients do not guarantee similar results for your business.
5. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver our services effectively, the client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about their business, website, and goals
- Grant appropriate access to Google Search Console, GA4, CMS, and other required platforms in a timely manner
- Review and approve content and strategy deliverables within agreed timeframes
- Notify us promptly of any changes to the website that may affect the SEO work in progress
- Pay invoices by the due date as specified in the service agreement
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as specified in your individual service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Monthly retainers are invoiced on the 1st of each month and due within 14 days
- One-off projects require a 50% deposit before work commences and 50% on completion
- Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance
- We reserve the right to pause or terminate services for accounts 30+ days overdue
7. Intellectual Property
Our content: All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and methodology documentation — is the intellectual property of The SEO Doctors and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
Client deliverables: Upon receipt of full payment, all written content, strategy documents, and reports created specifically for the client are assigned to the client. We retain the right to reference your campaign (in aggregate, without identifying details) in case studies and marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Our tools and processes: Our internal tools, templates, workflows, and methodologies remain the sole property of The SEO Doctors at all times.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary business information shared during the engagement. We will not disclose your business data, strategy, or campaign details to third parties except as required to deliver the services (e.g. to subcontractors) or as required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The SEO Doctors shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Ranking fluctuations or traffic changes caused by search engine algorithm updates
- Damages resulting from the client’s own website changes made without our knowledge
Our total liability to you in connection with any services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement by providing 30 days written notice. Upon termination:
- All outstanding invoices for work completed become immediately payable
- We will provide a handover document summarising work completed, rankings, and ongoing strategy
- Access credentials shared by the client will be revoked within 5 business days
We may terminate an agreement immediately, without notice, in cases of non-payment, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for reference or resource purposes. These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith mediation before any legal proceedings are commenced.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
